American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–7 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Bronx peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Bakelicious never disappoints! They’ve been our go-to bakery for every big family celebration, and they always exceed expectations. Their cakes are not only beautiful but absolutely delicious every single time. I even stop by sometimes just to grab a slice because everything they make is that good. The customer service is always top-tier—friendly, professional, and they genuinely care about making sure you’re happy with your order. Most recently, they made a Tres Leches cake for a family event, and it was phenomenal. They even provided extra Tres Leches mixture on the side so we could pour more over each slice. Let me tell you… chef’s kiss! It was moist, flavorful, and a huge hit with everyone. If you’re looking for a bakery that consistently delivers amazing desserts and excellent service, Bakelicious is it. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a cake from Bakelicious by Chef Manny’s Bakery, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, Johanny provided exceptional customer service. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience. It’s rare to find a business where you feel like more than just a customer, and she made me feel truly valued. As for the tres leches cake, it was absolutely incredible. The flavor, texture, and freshness completely exceeded my expectations. My parents couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was, and everyone who tried it was asking where it came from. It was one of the best cakes I’ve had in a long time. You can tell that Chef Manny and his team take pride in their work and care about the quality of what they serve. Between the outstanding customer service and the amazing cake, they’ve earned a loyal customer. I will definitely be returning for future celebrations and highly recommend Chef Manny’s Bakery to anyone looking for a delicious, beautifully made cake and a wonderful customer experience.

Well, I live upstate and I got this place as a recommendation because I was looking a good Dominican bakery. Lately not all Dominican bakery are worth it. So, I got this recommendation from my uncle who lives near by. Omg , so when I tell you this CAKE is eveything , it is EVERYTHING. Love the customer service , the price, the quality, the taste. Omg I don’t remember the last time I had such an amazing Dominican cake as today. It was worth it & the cake was beautiful. I originally ordered the cake plain only pink, but then my mom insisted for me to add something else so after I arrived with the cake to her house I added something else I already had. But still was cute , delicate and the taste it’s beyond words. I really hope they keep the good work & the taste stays the same. I would definitely recommend this place with all my friends. 1/31 - keep updating because I simply loved them ever since.
